Our Story
Advancing since 2017.
2017
Advance Church launches from The River Church in Durham, NC under the leadership of Bishop Ronald Godbee—holding Saturday evening services in a local school.
2022
The church relaunches in Fayetteville, NC—beginning a new chapter of ministry.
Today
Continued growth in membership, spiritual development, and community impact—advancing into what God has called us to become.
In the Community
Serving Fayetteville.
Serve others isn't the last word of our mission by accident—it's where the first two land.
This past back-to-school season our members ran a backpack drive, sending local kids into the new school year with what they needed to start it well.
That's the pattern: a church that grows deeper is a church that shows up for its city. When you plug into a ministry here, this is part of what you're joining.

Pastor Patrick Grace
Lead Pastor
Licensed to preach in 2007 and ordained at The River Church in Durham in 2016, Pastor Grace established Advance Church in Raeford in 2017 and relaunched it in Fayetteville in 2022. He's currently pursuing a B.A. in Leadership and Management at Regent University—and he's a proud father of three boys. He is also the author of The Reversal Plan.
